On October 29th, 2024, Ridlee's mom (Katie) and dad (Garrett) heard the phrase no parents ever should have to hear. "Your child has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia". Ridlee had just had his first birthday two days prior to his diagnosis.

Mason was recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Mason's first round of chemotherapy was administered on October 17, and he has at least 12 more weeks of chemo. The hope is his tumor will shrink so that is can be removed.
