On October 29th, 2024, Ridlee's mom (Katie) and dad (Garrett) heard the phrase no parents ever should have to hear. "Your child has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia". Ridlee had just had his first birthday two days prior to his diagnosis.
